BATTS was formed at Burnt Mill School in Harlow in 1994, after use of a small church hall became inadequate.
In 2005, we had the opportunity to bid for our very own full time centre. Harlow Council had been forced to close The Norman Booth Recreation Centre for budgetary reasons. We prepared a bid and found out in December 2005 that we had been successful.
Our new centre opened in June 2006. We are now one of the leading clubs in the South East of England. BATTS has teams competing in the local Harlow league and teams representing BATTS TEAM PENIEL in the British League.
We regularly host other weekend events e.g. Regional Coaching sessions, County weekends, tournaments, disabled days and school tournaments.
We welcome visitors to our club nights, and can accommodate players of any standard. Our regular club sessions are Monday, Tuesday (starts at 8pm on Tuesday) , Wednesday and Friday evenings.
